Welcome to Greenville Pastoral Counseling

Greenville Pastoral Counseling provides therapy to help individuals and couples deal with life’s challenges, including marital issues, communication issues, codependency, depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and substance use disorders recovery concerns. Individuals and couples are welcome.

Christopher Cox is a South Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addictions Counselor.  He is also a National Board Certified Counselor, a Masters Addiction Counselor, and a Pastoral Psychotherapist in the Association of Clinical Pastoral Educators.  Chris holds masters degrees from Duke University and Yale University.

In addition to his practice, Chris provided services for Pavillon Substance Use Disorders Treatment Center as the Family Program Coordinator from 2011 – 2021 and the loss and grief care counselor from 2020 – 2022.

Pastoral Counseling seeks to address one’s emotional concerns, while respecting a person’s spiritual, religious, secular, and social traditions. With over 30 years of experience as a Pastoral Counselor, Chris provides therapy for individuals and couples. He also specializes in working with those in recovery from Substance Use Disorders.

Services:

Individual and couples therapy, substance use disorders recovery issues, therapy for family members and spouses of substance abusers, premarital counseling, pastoral counseling, blended family issues, divorce issues, grief/loss issues, anxiety issues, life transitional issues.

All sessions are conducted via telehealth using a HIPAA compliant video platform and a paperless intake and payment process.
